
2026 Overland Adventure at the PVGP
International Car Show in Schenley Park - July 18-19, 2026 Race Weekend The Overland Adventure brings together the rapidly growing world of overlanding and off-road exploration at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. From rugged expedition builds and trail-ready SUVs to lifted trucks, rooftop tents, recovery gear, and adventure motorcycles, this new display celebrates vehicles built for the journey as much as the destination. It is a gathering place for outdoor enthusiasts who value capability, craftsmanship, exploration, and the freedom of the open road.
Set against the backdrop of Schenley Park and the nation’s only vintage street race, the showcase blends adventure culture with the excitement and tradition of the PVGP. Whether you are a seasoned overlander, weekend camper, or simply love seeing incredible adventure vehicles up close, the Overland Adventure Showcase offers a unique opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share stories, discover new gear, and experience one of the most unique automotive festivals in the country.
Cost: $60 donation per car (Increases to $70 on July 1)
- Includes weekend parking on the golf course.
- Complimentary PVGP Race Program and decal.
- Wristband for the driver and one passenger, good for the weekend.
- Online registration closes at midnight Thursday, July 16 and you must pay $70 at the gate after that.
Online Registration & Entry Instructions After you register and pay here, please print or save your receipt on your mobile device. This receipt is required to enter the Show Field, accessible from the top of Schenley Drive at the Forbes Avenue intersection. Your receipt will include a QR code that will be scanned upon arrival to ensure a quick and touchless entry process. Overlanders will enter Gate E and proceed all the way up German Hill and park against the trees. Overnight camping is permitted.

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is the nation’s largest vintage street race and a premier motorsport festival, blending the excitement of racing with car shows, parties, and parades — all set against the scenic backdrop of Pittsburgh.
Now entering our 44th year, the PVGP has earned international acclaim, including back-to-back finalist honors for Motorsport Event of the Year at the 2024 and 2025 International Historic Motoring Awards. The PVGP also won the 2025 Classic Motorsports Editors’ Choice Award.

Since 1983, we’ve raised over $7 million to support individuals with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities.
