2024 Downtown Car Display
If you work downtown, Wednesday of Race Week is a great day to take a long lunch break.
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix hosts two distinct car displays in the golden triangle. Race cars and show cars form displays among the skyscrapers at downtown’s most prominent addresses in Market Square and just 200 feet away in PPG Place on the plaza surrounding the fountain.
Registration & Cost
The cost is only $15 to participate in the Downtown Plaza Display. All cars must stay in place until at least 1:45 pm and depart by 2:00 pm.
Charity
Thank you for supporting the PVGP and our charities. This show is a fundraiser that provides residential care, treatment and support for people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities. With your help we have donated $6.7 million to charity since 1983.

Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is the nation’s largest vintage street race and a premier motorsport festival, blending the excitement of racing with car shows, parties, and parades — all set against the scenic backdrop of Pittsburgh.
Now entering our 44th year, the PVGP has earned international acclaim, including back-to-back finalist honors for Motorsport Event of the Year at the 2024 and 2025 International Historic Motoring Awards. The PVGP also won the 2025 Classic Motorsports Editors’ Choice Award.
More than just a celebration of automotive history, the PVGP is driven by purpose. Since 1983, we’ve raised over $7 million to support individuals with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities. Thanks to our passionate volunteers, attendees, and partners, the PVGP continues to thrive as a world-class event with lasting impact.
